For the Glory of God | Shorter Catechism Q1

What does it mean to glorify God?  It means to be united through faith with the Lord Jesus Christ so that then all that we do is presented as acceptible and pleasing to God. It means to declare the praise of His glory through reverent worship on the Lord's Day along with all of the saints. And it means to display his glory by imitating Jesus Christ and by living in accordance with all that he has set down in his Holy Word.
